Both values shown for each language are accepted for spreadsheet imports. The language labels below are preserved exactly as accepted by the import.

Adding Locale to a Spreadsheet Import
When adding language preferences to a spreadsheet import, enter one supported locale value for each employee in the Locale column.
- Find the employee’s language in the table below.
- Enter either the locale code or the accepted language label in the Locale field. You only need one of these values.
- Copy the value exactly as shown, including any hyphens, capitalization, accents, and parentheses. Do not include quotation marks.
Example: To select Vietnamese, enter vi or Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese). To select French Canadian, enter fr-CA or Canadien français (French Canadian).
Tip: Use the locale codes for a simpler import file. Codes such as vi, en, and fr-CA help avoid typing errors in longer language labels.
