Points: Understanding the Different Displays

The Recognize platform displays points in several areas, in order to provide users (and Company Admins) more insight into their engagement activities.

Currently, there are 3 different point displays that users will encounter in Recognize:

  1. (Time Interval) Points
  2. Total Points
  3. Available Redemption Points

 

(Time Interval) Points:

Users can view how many points they've acquired for a specified time interval (e.g. month, quarter, or year) at the top-right side of the Recognize home screen.

This amount consists of both redeemable and non-redeemable points, and the corresponding time interval can be adjusted by admins via the Company Admin/Settings portal. To make changes to this interval as an admin:

  1. Select 'Menu' in the top right-hand corner of your screen
  2. Select 'Company Admin' from the drop-down menu

  3. Select 'Settings' from the left side menu
  4. Under the 'Default Interval' section, you'll be able to change the timeframe for this points display, as well as control the default time period for calendars

Total Points:

Users can also view how many total points (both redeemable and non-redeemable) they've acquired since joining the Recognize platform. This number can be viewed by accessing the 'User Profile.'

 

  1. After logging in to Recognize, click on your profile in the top right corner of the screen

  2. Within your profile, select the 'Points' tab to show you your point details

  3. You will be able to then view your total points since joining Recognize in the box on the right hand side of your screen
  4. Users can also see point details for specified date ranges
  5. Additional filters can also be applied to the point details table, if desired
  6. Feel free to export any results by using the export tab

Available Redemption Points:

Last but certainly not least, users can view how many redeemable points are available to redeem rewards. This number can be viewed by accessing the 'Rewards' feature from the top-left side of the Recognize dashboard.

  1. After logging in to Recognize, click on the 'Rewards' tab in the top left menu

  2. Your available redeemable points balance can then be found in the top Rewards bar, just under the top left menu
