Tasks are one time “achievement” or directive based recognitions. They allow you to create badges/recognitions associated with very specific, verifiable actions. For example, you may create an initial task for everyone in your organization to sign in to Recognize for the first time.
When a direct reporting employee indicates that a task has been completed, the Manager will be notified by email, and can approve or deny the task.
To approve a task:
- Open your Manager Portal
- Select the "Tasks" option from the left navigation column
- Select the "Resolve" button to the right of any task to view the details:
- Add any necessary notes in the approval confirmation window
- Approve or deny the task, and submit:
