The Manager Portal is an environment where managers can view the engagement statistics, Recognitions, and anniversaries of their direct reports. To view the Manager Portal, you must have at least one direct report within the Recognize platform.
Managers can view the recognition and engagement data of their employees, as well as manage a variety of features. These include:
- Access and monitor reporting on Recognize engagement metrics of reporting staff
- Approve or deny tasks for reporting staff
- Approve or deny reward redemptions for their reporting staff
Accessing the Manager Portal
- Once logged in to your Recognize account, select the 'Menu' button in the top right-hand corner of your screen
- Select 'Manager Portal' from the drop-down menu
Manager Portal Menu Options
Use the quick links below to jump to details for respective pages within the Manager Portal.
Dashboard
The Dashboard page gives managers a sense of what is happening with recognition among their direct reports. They will be able to see total number of recognitions posted within a given time period, top senders and receivers by Badge for a given time period, generate a random recognition to highlight for a given time period, as well as view top employees, and overall team engagement.
-
-
Overview: The Manager Portal Dashboard will default to the 'Overview' tab, which gives you a cumulative overview of your direct reports' engagement metrics, as well as highlights top employees by Badge, and offers a random recognition generator that will pull a recognition from the time period you are viewing.
- You can filter the Dashboard information by time interval (month, quarter, year, or custom) in the top left corner of the page. This will change your Dashboard data to show cumulative Recognitions, Comments, Recognition Likes and Emoji Reactions within the set time frame, as well as Top Badges and Top Employees By Badge within the set time frame.
- Below the cumulative user engagement display, you will see a graph on the left that shows the breakdown of which Recognitions were received, within your time frame which you can set to display 'All', or to show only by 'Peer' or 'Anniversary' Badges.
- To the right of the bar graph, you'll see a pie chart that shows the breakdown of the Top Badges sent within the given time interval.
- The 'Random Recognition' display shows a random Recognition sent within the time period determined at the top of the page. This can be used as an additional tool to highlight both the employee who sent the Badge and the one who received it, either by sharing it with the team in a meeting, or providing extra points to incentivize further engagement.
- The 'Top Employees By Badge' box shows the employees who received the most of a particular Badge as well as the employees who sent the most of a particular badge. These are meant to give you a quick view of who is engaging with the platform most and which employees are rising to the top.
- Top Employees - On the Top Employees page, you can discover your team's top recognition senders, top recognition receivers, and top point accumulators, as well as filter and pull reports for these users and those of your direct reports that have not received or sent recognition.

RES (Recognition Engagement Scores): This section provides an overall score for engagement over three different time intervals: month, quarter, and year. The Recognition Engagement Score, or RES for short, is representative of the percentage of unique users (your direct reports) who have sent or received recognition within the respective time interval.

- You can use the top left filter to look at RES by Badge, Team, or Role

- The right side gages will show a percentage of unique users over total users that have sent recognition within the designated time interval, which is indicative of how engaged your direct reports are with your programs (50-60% quarterly is considered a healthy engagement score!)
