While we are sorry to see you go, you can cancel your personal Recognize user account at any time from within your user profile. Keep in mind, that if your company uses a user data sync with an HR system to create accounts, you may need to work with your company's Recognize admin to be removed from the user list so that you don't receive additional invitations to join. You can also opt to ignore any invitations you receive, and your account will remain inactive.

- Click on your Profile/Avatar in the upper right corner of the page

Select the 'Edit Profile' button

Select 'Cancel Account' in the bottom left corner under your profile details

You will then receive a pop-up message confirming whether you would like to cancel your account, and you'll select the 'Yes, cancel it!' button
NOTE: If you are a Recognize Company Admin, this does not cancel your organization's subscription or account. Please contact support@recognizeapp.com or your Customer Success Manager to request cancellation of your organization's subscription or account.
Steps to Canceling Your Organization's Account
While we certainly regret that you're considering leaving us, you can cancel your organization's Recognize subscription and turn off your company's account by contacting support@recognizeapp.com or your Customer Success Manager. Please note that we are unable to refund or prorate subscriptions if you choose not to keep your company's account turned on for the duration of your contract. When you close your account, the previous billing cycle will be the last bill you will receive. If you signed up for a monthly plan and decide to cancel before your next bill cycles, we will not bill you for the following month. If you signed up for an annual plan and decide to cancel halfway through that year, we will not bill you the following year.
