Kiosk Mode brings employee recognition to life by showcasing moments of appreciation from your Stream page in an animated grid display on digital signage, TVs, or shared screens. Recognitions scroll automatically for 10 minutes, then loops back to the top, creating a continuous celebration of great work.
It’s perfect for break rooms, employee gathering areas, and team spaces, and can also be used during team meetings or company town halls to spotlight achievements. Kiosk Mode uses a password-secured URL created in the Company Admin Settings, allowing the Stream page to be displayed safely without anyone needing to be logged in.
You can customize Kiosk Mode to fit your organization’s needs, including options to:
Display only birthdays and anniversaries
Show recognitions for specific teams
Highlight recognitions for a particular badge
The result is a more connected culture where appreciation is visible, shared, and celebrated by everyone.
How to Set Up Kiosk Mode:
Follow the steps below to learn how to create and use your Kiosk Mode URL.
- Select 'Menu' in the upper right corner of Recognize
- Select 'Company Admin' from the dropdown menu to access the Admin Portal
- Select the 'Settings' tab from the left side menu
- Select 'Kiosk Mode' in the navigation pane on the right-hand side of the page to jump to Kiosk Mode settings
Choose the content you want to display in Kiosk Mode: Recognitions, Anniversaries/Birthdays, or All.
Select the scroll direction for your recognitions: Horizontally or Vertically. Vertical works well for larger screens, while horizontal is best for smaller screens.
Toggle Auto-scroll recognitions on if you want the recognitions to cycle automatically.
Choose whether to display recognitions for All Company or select a specific team from the drop-down menu.
Choose whether to show All Badges or select a specific badge to highlight, which is ideal for showcasing a particular company initiative.
Enter a Passcode of your choice and click Update Kiosk Mode URL to generate your Kiosk Mode link.
Copy your Kiosk Mode URL and paste it into your TV or digital signage.
Note: You can create multiple Kiosk Mode URLs - for example, a team-specific URL for each team so they can display their relevant recognitions.
