Recognize uses a points system to help track engagement, create excitement, and enable companies to acknowledge and reward positive employee behavior. The points for receiving a Recognition are controlled by the value of the badge given. These points help measure different types of users' activities on the platform. Badges can have different point values dependent upon meaning. Here, we will show you how to assign a point value to a badge.
How to Assign Points to a Badge (Auto-Approved):
- Open your 'Menu' from the top right of the page
- Select the 'Company Admin' from the drop-down menu
- Select 'Custom Badges' from the far left menu & find the badge in the table you wish to edit points for or create a new badge to add points to
- Click 'Details' to edit the details for that badge
- Under the area labeled 'Points', enter the number of points you wish to assign to the badge
- Select 'Save Badges' when have finished updating your badges to save your changes
How to Assign Points to a Badge (Require Approval):
- Open your 'Menu' from the top right of the page
- Select the 'Company Admin' from the drop-down menu
- Select 'Custom Badges' from the far left menu & find the badge in the table you wish to edit points for or create a new badge to add points to
- Click 'Details' to edit the details for that badge
- Select the check box next to 'Require Approval'
- Enter the point variants you wish to offer with this badge. The approving manager will select how many points to award the recipient on a case-by-case basis
- Select either 'Manager' or 'Company Admin' as the approver of this Recognition
- If you have chosen 'Manager' as the badge's approver, by default only the recipient's manager can approve it. To allow the sender's manager to also have permission to approve this Recognition, check the box next to 'Allow either sender's manager or recipients' managers to approve'
- Select 'Save Badges' you when have finished updating your badges to save your changes
