We've implemented new email and SMS Manager Recognition Reminder Notifications. The purpose of these notifications is to remind Managers to consider recognizing a direct report that hasn't received recent recognition, in order to keep recognition top of mind, increase engagement, and ensure all employees feel appreciated.
These Manager Notifications are enabled by default and sent out automatically weekly on Thursdays at 8am (based on your company's global timezone setting) to users with a Manager system role.
The notification(s) will include one of the following subject lines and messages at random to encourage Managers to consider recognizing a direct report that hasn't received recent recognition.
“Has [employee name] done something recognition-worthy?"
"Let [employee name] know their hard work is appreciated!”
"What is [Employee name] doing that's awesome?"
"How is [employee name] showing the company values?"
"What is something great [employee name] has done recently?"
Here is an example of what the email notification will look like:
The email will come from 'team@recognizeapp.com' and the logic for the direct report that is included in the notification is by last recognition received (oldest). Meaning, the direct report with the most days since last recognition will be included in the Manager notification(s).
