Depending on your company's Rewards set up, you may be able to redeem your points for company items, gift cards, or experiences. See the below video to learn how to redeem your points for Rewards in the Recognize platform.

Redeeming Rewards
- Select the 'Rewards' icon from the top left navigation menu
- Once in the Rewards portal, you will notice that Rewards show in either a grid view or carousel view by category, and that there are multiple filtering options. The first option you'll see is to view rewards by Catalog in the top left corner (the number of Catalogs that appear will vary based on your organization's setup)
- You can check the 'Instant Delivery' box to only see rewards that are delivered instantly
- You can also search for a specific reward to see if it's available using the search box on the left hand side
- You can filter and sort rewards by Category or view all categories by clicking the 'Select All' box to the right of Category section
- If applicable, depending on your organization's rewards setup, you can sort rewards by Country
- To only see Rewards currently available to redeem based on the number of points you have, click the 'Redeemable' button
- You can also sort rewards from lowest minimum redemption cost to highest minimum redemption cost by selecting 'Low' or 'High' buttons
- If you do not have enough available points to redeem a specific Reward, you will see an 'Unavailable' label on the reward
- You will be able to view the minimum and maximum amount of points that are required to redeem a specific reward at the bottom left-hand corner of the Reward
- You will also be able to see the delivery type for that particular Reward in the bottom right-hand corner of the Reward, which will either specify that the Reward is fulfilled instantly or requires extra time to fulfill
- Once you know which Reward you would like to redeem for, you can select the image of the Reward to open the Reward's details
- On the Reward details page, you can view more information on the vendor, Reward, and learn the details for how to redeem it

- When you're ready, select the variant (or amount of points) you'd like to redeem for the Reward (for company items there may be a size or other type of selection to choose from instead)
- Once you have made your selection, you can click the 'Redeem' button
- Once you click 'Redeem', you well receive a pop-up window to confirm the redemption. If you are sure you'd like to redeem your points for this reward, select 'Redeem'. If you do not wish to redeem points for that Reward, you can select 'Cancel'
NOTE: Once a vendor-fulfilled reward (e.g. Chipotle gift card) is selected & confirmed, it cannot be refunded!
Reward Approvals
If your company has chosen to use an approval process for Rewards, and the item you selected requires approval, a message will pop-up (as shown below) to let you know that it has been sent for approval along with details on who to contact with questions.
Additionally, you'll receive an email to notify you that your Reward is pending approval, as shown below.
You can also review the status of your redemptions by going to your User Profile > Redemptions. (See below section for details).
Once your Reward redemption has been approved, you will receive a second notification via email. If your Reward redemption is not electronically fulfilled through the Recognize platform, there will be instructions on how to claim your Reward, along with contact information for the Rewards Manager.
Reviewing Reward Redemptions
If you are wondering about the status of a Reward that you've redeemed points for in Recognize, or need directions on claiming and using your Reward, this information can be found conveniently in your user profile. To view past Reward redemptions in your user profile:
- Click on your name/avatar in the top right corner of your Recognize page to access your profile
- Under your profile header, there are several sections within your profile. Click on the section labeled 'Redemptions' where you will see all the redemptions you've made by date and name of Reward
- Within the 'Redemptions' section, under the column labeled 'Status', you can also see whether or not the Reward has been approved
- For more details on how to claim your Reward, you can click 'View details' under the status of each Reward in that same column
NOTE: Some company-fulfilled Rewards may require a Rewards Manager to contact you.
- If you see a status of 'Pending' in the 'Status' column, this means that the Reward is awaiting approval by a Recognize Company Admin or Rewards Manager within your organization. If you see a status of 'In Delivery,' this means that a third party is working to fulfill your redemption. Please note that deferred Rewards can take 3-10 business days to be fulfilled. If you have any questions about pending approvals, reach out to your internal HR team, or whoever maintains redemption requests for your company's Recognize account.
